The work is complete and in the original tan cloth with the gilt spine title label. Light bumping to corners, owner’s stamp on end sheet, small smudge mark from his catalog number on lower spine. The text is clean and bright free of markings. In very good condition.
Krinov's classic study of giant meteorite bodies, the known craters and sites suspected of being craters. He provides an in depth description of the Barringer site in Arizona, Tunguska event, and the Sikhote-Aline shower. His work is now rare in the original hard copy edition.
