 The work is complete and in a contemporary linen binding with a paper spine label. The spine label is worn, boards lightly sunned. Owner’s penned signature and date on end sheet . Light foxing to plates, else in very good condition.

 Green was the pastor of Burgh Castle at Bacton, in Norfolk and had an interest in the archeology and geology of the region surrounding this coastal village. Within this work he provides brief details on the early history of the area but devotes the majority of the work to the geology and vertebrate fossils.
