The work is complete and in a later cloth over pale blue boards with a black spine label. The binding is tight with minor scuffing to the binding, the text is uncut, crisp and very clean. In very good condition.

Eaton (1872-1949), was an American zoologist and biologist. He is best remembered for his studies of the Pteranodon and research associated with the three Yale University scientific expeditions to Peru. The most noted discoveries, from those expeditions were the finding of Machu Picchu and of Vitcos, the last capital of the Incas. His above offered work contains the original early study on artifacts and human remains found in graves at Machu Picchu the 15th-century Inca citadel located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru.
