The work is complete and in the original blue boards with black cover titles and dark red cloth spine. The binding is tight, light wear to covers and corners are bumped. The text is very clean. in very good condition.
 
Curtis provides a concise native on the history, development, growth and future potential of the Broken Hill mining district in Australia. He describes the mineral resources, the support industry, the ore smelting processes, expansion of the mining and future potential of Broken Hill. The work remains an excellent account of Broken Hill up to 1908.
