The volume is complete and in the original calf and cloth with gilt titles. The binding is tight and clean, spine very lightly sun faded. The text and all maps are very clean and bright, free of tears, original owner’s name stamp on title page. Very good+ condition.
This volume is especially noted for the lengthy article by Sales “Ore Deposits at Butte Montana” (pages 4-109) in which he discusses the geology, ore deposits and their genesis and mineralogy, and provides details on the various mines.
