The authors provide a detailed review of the Cretaceous, Ordovician and Cambrian rocks, the Keweenawan series, Huronian series, and basement complex and their correlation, then provide a new correlation of parts of the Huronian, and describe three periods of granitic intrusion. They finish with a description of the iron formation and its oxidation.
