The set is complete and in the original cloth with gilt spine titles. Binding is tight and clean. 1852 ownership name on end sheet. Light foxing to margins of pages and light foxing to margins of some plates. Soiling to very outer margins of map and Niagara Falls view. Over all in very good condition.

London printed for John Bowles, circa 1750. Large folded map (40 inches wide by 47 inches high) in 48 panels, partially colored, vignette occupies over four panels in upper right corner. Very minor wear at edges, overall, very good.

The map is bright and very clean, folded as issued, and in an archival sleeve. Very minor archival repairs at splits along two short folds. Over all in very good condition.

The book is complete and in a modern full calf binding with the contemporary gilt spine label preserved. The binding is tight and very clean. An early faded signature is on the title page. Light to moderate foxing to three of the plates and title page. Light toning to the map margins and some light spotting on a few text pages. Over all in very good condition with the scarce map present.

The work is complete and in a modern quarter calf over marbled boards with a gilt spine label. The binding is tight and clean, the text has light foxing to the first and last pages, the folded map is crisp and exceptionally clean in a sleeve at the rear of the work. In very good condition.

The work is complete and in the original limp vellum binding. The binding is tight, spotting to covers, light stain to outer margin of title page and first few pages, light soiling to title page. The four rotating parts of the diagrams on pages 20, 25, 65, 189 have been restored with exact facsimiles. These figures have been lost on most copies of the work. They are present here in facsimile. The map is exceptionally clean as is the remainder of the text and illustrations. The text is in a modern cloth clam shell box. In very good condition.

The atlas is complete and in the original cloth with a linen spine and gilt titles. Light soiling to spine, inner spine edges nicely re-enforced, theology seminary embossed stamp on title page. The maps are very clean with archival re-enforcement on verso of the large map. In very good condition.
