The atlas is complete and in the original cloth binding with gilt stamped titles. Binding is tight and clean with minor repair to the spine edge and a couple of scuff blemishes retouched and inner spine hinge repaired with Japanese tissue, titles are bright, the plates are very clean and bright. The panoramic views in the Kaibab division (plates 15-17) and Vulcans Throne panorama (plate 6) are exquisite. The Moran panorama of the amphitheater is very clean and free of blemishes and at some point was removed and rebacked with a thin sheet of archival Japanese tissue and reinserted. This helped to insure preservation. This atlas is exceptionally clean with absolutely no blemishes to the plates. Overall in exceptionally nice condition. FREE SHIPPING ON ALL BOOKS.

Light foxing to the first and last text pages, stamp of the Ecole Nationale des Mines on title page with exchange stamp above it. The two maps are very clean with only minor foxing at two folds and a very short tear to the inner edge of one map.
