The work is complete and in the original cloth with a gilt over vignette of "Explorer" and gilt spine titles which have faded to green (this is common with copies in the original cloth). The binding is tight and clean with minor archival restoration to corners which is not noticed. The text and plates are very clean and free of any stamps or blemishes. A very short hinge tear to one map which was repaired on the verso with archival tape. This is an exceptionally clean copy in very good condition. PRICE: $2,700.00
