The map is folded as issued. The paper is bright with very light toning at the folds. In very good condition.

This map is considered one the more accurate and detailed early maps of Minnesota. The map is in partial color with counties colored at the borders. The map provides a clear depiction of the towns, mining areas, wagon roads, railroads including land grant railroads and projected railroads and other prominent features. The copper, iron and gold mines are denoted in color. General Land Office maps are an essential historical tool for the early mapping of many states in the U.S.
